speaking biography for Renewable Energy / Environment

Rob Baxter is a co-founder and a director of the Vancouver Renewable Energy Cooperative and active member of the BC Sustainable Energy Association. He teaches a course in renewable energy for Langara College Continuing Studies.

As an active community organizer he has served on the boards of People for Lake Whatcom and SPEC.  He also initiated a campaign that successfully lobbied the B.C. Cancer Society to change its policy towards sustainable transportation. He has over 15 years of experience giving workshops on a wide variety of topics and has appeared on local TV and radio. He has an MBA from the University of Western Ontario.
