Our campaign encourages individuals and organizations to make
responsible decisions about transportation choices and the promotion of
those choices. While large trucks may have a utilitarian role in our
society, we believe that large SUVs designed primarily for low
occupancy passenger use are not a responsible form of transportation.
Vehicles such as the Hummer consume more resources and emit much more
pollution than other transportation choices that could serve the
same purpose
There are many reasons to choose transportation options that use less
fossil fuels. These reasons include global climate change, the health
affects of air pollution, the decline of fossil fuel resources, sprawl
and the wars that are fought for oil.

Current Projects:
Boycott Glen Warren Re/Max Real Estate Vancouver

Obviously, this real estate agent cares little about the fate of our
planet or future generations. Please boycott Glen Warren Re/Max
Real Estate Vancouver.
Coming soon: Comor Sports.
Past Projects:
SUCESS! Our first project has convinced the BC Cancer Foundation
to stop promoting Hummers in its annual "Lifestyles Lottery." On
April 6th, 2004 the BC Cancer Foundation informed us that they
woud NOT offer a Hummer in their lottery this year.
We thought that it was especially worrisome for a cancer foundation to
be promoting a vehicle that produces five times as much pollution as
the average car when there is a clear link between vehicular pollution
and cancer.

Thank you to everyone who contacted the BC Cancer Foundation and signed
our petitions. Special thanks to Kathryn Molloy of the Sierra Club, the SkyFish Project and SEFAC Foundation.
Look for a new project in the futre (or send us a suggestion).
It looks like we also helped convince Deakin
Equipment to trade their hummer in for a Smart car.
